Woman and the Moon with Bir Kaur Khalsa O’Flaherty
Part of understanding ourselves as women lies in understanding our emotional landscape and how we, like the moon, wax and wane. Yogi Bhajan gave women a very useful yogic understanding and technology to deal with these natural fluctuations: the yogic teachings on the Eleven Moon Centres of the Woman.
The eleven Moon Centres are sensitive physical areas on the woman’s body which are responsive to lunar energies and affect how she deals with her everyday life. These centres activate in her body in a 28-day cycle, for 2 ½ days at each location and manifest the energy of the moon in a different and unique way.
This workshop will include:
- Learning where the 11 different centres are in the body and the effect they have on our emotions and psyche
- Discover your own unique pattern of how the moon moves through you
- Gain specific Yogic tools to help understand and balance these tendencies within you.
Cost: $50 advance; $65 day of (plus tax)
