BREATH OF LIFE

Learn conscious breathing to improve your everyday breathing and optimize your intake of life force. We are made of the energy of the Universe, and we must replenish that energy every day to live. With every breath, we inhale the life force—the very essence of the Universal energy that keeps us alive on Earth. Without it, we die. Join us to experience your breath in new ways. 

In this 3-hour workshop, we will learn how to optimize our intake of life force through conscious breathing, breath expansion, and applying the bandhas (locks). We will explore the benefits of deep breathing, slowing down the breath, and applying the bandhas. We will also prepare our body with some Kundalini yoga exercises to stimulate the pranic centre and create more pranic energy. Finally, we will rebuild our body and mind through pranayama and experience deep guided relaxation.

Teacher’s Bio:
LAKHBIR KAUR, also known as Marion Schoeler, has been a yoga practitioner for over three decades. She used yoga to complement and offset the physical and mental strains of competitive running. Throughout her practice, she explored various yoga styles, including Hatha, Ashtanga, Bikram, Kundalini Yoga, and delved into Ayurveda and Bio Energy healing. 

As a Kundalini Yoga teacher, Marion shares her experiences and knowledge of the vast body of teachings accumulated over millennia. In her classes, she guides students on a journey of self-discovery and deep healing. She encourages them to experience their bodies and minds on both a physical and energetic level through exercises, targeted breathing, music, chanting, and meditation.
