Precautionary Class Cancelations due to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

First and foremost, the safety and well-being of the Yoga West community is our top priority.
Recently, there has been a heightened level of concern that needs to be addressed surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We have been actively monitoring the situation and it has become clearer that drastic measures are vital to slow the progression of the virus, and to eliminate exposure for as many people as possible.
In light of the actions our Provincial and Federal governments have taken, we have decided to cancel all of our regularly scheduled classes, sadhana, and Sunday Kirtan and we have postponed all workshops. At this time it looks like our class cancellations will continue until at least March 30 at which time we will re-assess.
Please Note: All class passes and auto-renew passes with expiration dates will be adjusted accordingly. No action is required by you, you will not lose any classes or time on your passes. If you are registered for a workshop which will be postponed during this period of time you will receive a full credit for the workshop when it is re-scheduled or if you prefer you can receive a full refund.
During this time, Yoga West will have some staff on duty as we do a super cleaning of everything and to manage phone inquiries, etc. The Gurdwara will be available and accessible for meditation, bowing, and prayer. We ask that all who enter follow the established sanitizing protocol and guidelines for health and safety, practice social distancing and mindful, frequent hand washing.
Here is what Yoga West is doing:
We are using disinfectant to wipe down the front reception desk and area, doors and door knobs and bathroom/kitchen faucets several times a day.
We have provided hand sanitizing stations.
Disposable cups and spoons are available for Yogi Tea, if you prefer.
We will continue to assess new information as it becomes available and provide updates as we have them. Thank you for your patience, trust, support and love of Yoga West and our community at large.
